It is known that Louis Vuitton has submitted fresh plans to the city, revealing its intention to replace its current 20-story store with an exuberant 485-foot-tall (around 148 meters) flagship. However, this new space will be unlike any other store you may have visited. Some even describe it as a 25-story luxury playground. The experience promises to be truly sky-high, with the eighth floor featuring a café and terrace overlooking Central Park. Four dedicated exhibition floors will trace the brand’s 170-year legacy, while above them guests will find a spa, showroom suites, and a selection of restaurants — all crowned by a rooftop bar and garden.

Opening of the new store

For now, the project is still awaiting public approval, as the design is expected to push the limits of zoning rules related to street walls, setbacks, and pedestrian space. Nevertheless, Fifth Avenue may soon be welcoming its newest luxury playground.

Stay tuned!

With love,

Inês
